A self-guided course to navigating anxiety through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, nutrition and lifestyle.

ALIGN offers a revolutionary blend of psychological tools and nutritional, holistic wisdom to manage anxiety.

In this self-paced course, you’ll learn practical ACT-based tools which will support you to identify your ‘why’, anchor in self-compassion, step back from anxious thoughts, make room for anxious feelings, and live the life you want to live – not the life anxiety wants you to live.  You’ll be armed with the latest research on nutrition for anxiety, as well as lifestyle changes which will support you to step towards the ‘you’ you want to be, and the life you want to live.

ALIGN will leave you empowered with all the tools you need to begin the journey to a more meaningful and fulfilled life in the presence of anxiety.

ALIGN is for you if:

  1. You’re feeling stuck in a life anxiety has created for you: you feel disconnected from where you want to be in life, and you’re wanting to reconnect with what really matters to you.
  2. You’re interested in an integrative approach to anxiety: you’re interested in how nutrition, lifestyle, and ACT-based tools can be used to manage anxiety.
  3. You’re after practical tools to navigate anxiety: ALIGN will support you with practical tips and tricks to effectively navigate life in anxiety’s presence.
  4. You notice a whole lot of self-criticism: when you feel anxious (or maybe in general), you notice your mind really beating you up. In ALIGN, you’ll learn how to tune into self-compassion.
  5. You’ve tried a lot of different ways to manage anxiety, and none of them have worked: Maybe you’ve tried controlling or ignoring anxiety, medications, or herbal remedies, and nothing’s really worked. ALIGN is for you – you’ll build up your tool kit with various tools that I’ve seen work in clinical practice.
  6. You want to receive psychological support for anxiety, however it is currently inaccessible: Designed by an experienced psychologist, ALIGN will provide you with practical psychological, nutritional and lifestyle tools you can implement today.
  7. You want to get to understand anxiety a bit better: You will learn about the different roots of anxiety (from an ACT, nutrition and lifestyle perspective!) so you’ll get a real understanding of what anxiety is for you.
  8. You want a structured yet flexible path: If you’re looking for a course that offers a clear path with resources and guidance but also understands that life is about ebb and flow, and acknowledge that like any human you might ‘fall off the wagon’ occasionally, this course is for you.
  9. You experience anxiety, or are supporting others who experience anxiety: Whether you are wanting to navigate your own anxiety or hoping to support others in your life who are navigating this, ALIGN arms you with tools to apply to yourself and share with others.

The Creator

ALIGN has been lovingly created by Sophia Dawson, a skilled psychologist who specialises in both Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and nutritional psychology. Sophia has extensive experience working with clients with anxiety, and is currently doing her PhD in the field of nutritional psychology, examining how we can use what we eat to support our mental health to thrive.

Sophia wanted to create an accessible, self-paced course for those (and loved ones of those!) who experience anxiety, with the effective and practical tools she has seen work in clinical practice, and is so excited to share this with you.

The Why?

ALIGN has been created with the intention of curating effective tools to navigate anxiety that integrate both the mind and the body.

For those who would like to be living a fuller life in the presence of anxiety (or supporting a loved one to do so), for those who may not have access to psychological therapy right now, for those who have tried all the psychological tips and tricks (or medications) without any success – this is for you!

What you’ll learn
